21. Identical Twin. I love photograpy, writing, and running, even when they don't love me back. I've probably had more injuries in my running career than you can think of but I never let these trials get me down. I love challenges and proving the non-believers wrong :)
Thanks for all the responses on my doctor posts, I read them all but there is just a lot to reply to. Wanted to say thanks again because you guys always know what to say and I love the advice you give. I will be going back to my surgeon in a couple of weeks so I guess we will see what’s up then. Hopefully.
This morning I just finished my blueberry mini wheats so that’s already a bad sign for the day to come haha. I was able to devour that box in a mere four days. Scary. I guess that’s what happens when you live in your room for almost a week. I still have my almond milk left though so it’s quite a conundrum. I could drink it plain since it’s vanilla flavored and I love the taste, but I think I will get some more cereal from the caf on sunday.
Tonight I’m leaving to go to my sister’s apartment in Alexandria. Flogging Molly concert is tomorrow so I’m hoping it really lifts my spirits and takes my mind off things.
I really don’t know what to do with myself since I’m not really exercising. I have to do my physical therapy every day though so I’m thinking about doing a lot of strengthening at the gym today again (I did some last night when I couldn’t do work any longer). I’m wondering if lightly stair stepping would be okay for my knee since that would work my quad? As long as I didn’t go deep or felt any discomfort? I know it’s a great way to work those muscles and the size difference in my quads is suddenly quite noticeable…
I also considered lap swimming but I don’t feel like getting in the pool and getting soaked if it’s just going to be a fail haha…
I would really LOVE to skip class today. At least my 8 AM. I just really don’t feel like going and sitting there but I guess I should go force myself anyways.
